The Giger Lab welcomes new postdoctoral fellow, Jose (Pepe) Avila Mendoza. who is joining the ARPA-H funded optic nerve regeneration team!

The Giger Lab is contributing to a groundbreaking project aimed at restoring vision through whole eye transplants. By promoting optic nerve regeneration, their research offers hope for overcoming key challenges in eye transplantation, collaborating with experts on the $56M VISION project supported by the Advanced Research Project Agency for Health (ARPA-H).
